8 months old!
Camdon, you are 8 months old now!
Your third tooth just popped through this week...now you have three teeth all lined up on the bottom. I LOVE the lopsided look! Your fourth tooth is almost poking through, this time on the top...
You are pulling yourself up to stand now, and I can't believe it. Just this past week you've become quite good at it (although you've been "able" to for a few weeks now). You try to climb us all day long!
You are my sweet mama's boy, and get so excited to see me. Sometimes if it's been too long--by your standards--you will even cry for me (which I secretly love) :) Daddy has even noticed that if you go to sleep without seeing me first, you won't sleep as well. :)
You also get very excited when your daddy comes in from work, or when Brynne wakes up in the morning. It's sweet to see how much you recognize us all now!
You are sensitive and if mommy says NO (as in NO biting while nursing-!-) just the reprimand alone will bring tears from you. Mommy thinks she's in trouble when it comes time to discipline. Your little lip curl and your devastated cry just KILL me, little man. :)
You have achieved the pincer grasp, and are busily eating everything you can get your hands on! If someone in the house is eating and you aren't invited, you do NOT appreciate it :) You like cheerios, bread, today you tried pancakes....you also eat peas, green beans, sweet potato, lentils, turkey, squash, applesauce, carrots, advocado, bananas, prunes.....so far I have yet to find something you will not eat!
You learned to clap a week ago! You are so good at it now! You also sometimes will do "so big!" for me :)
You do lots of talking....and if you are eating and someone isn't cooperating fast enough, you'll "UH!" over and over until they get the picture. :)
You still do not like to play by yourself, but if you are down and mommy sings...and sings...and sings...you tend to stay happier. Mommy's busting out every kid song she can think of!
We discovered that dancing with mommy and Brynne is a fun game.
You love electrical cords, and will try to mash yourself under the couch to find one...no matter where we hide them, you are on the hunt!
Yesterday you wore your first 9-12 outfit....you aren't wearing that size much yet, but it will be very VERY soon.
